So much happens during our reading workshop. Children are reading with partners and discussing the books. Children are practicing phonics skills though a program on the iPad called Lexia as well as in workbooks. Children are meeting in reading groups to learn and to practice reading and comprehension strategies. Children are reading independently. And, children are writing about what they read in response journals. You will find examples of all of this work in the pictures in this post as well as the following post.
